Halloween

I am FINALLY posting Halloween pictures. We didn't really do to much, being that Carlyn is still little and doesn't understand it all anyway! But, it was fun to dress her up and take the pictures. Jason was working, but stopped by the house just to see his little fairy princess!

Sarah's the Best!

My friend Sarah, who I went to high school with...and now lives in Finland, was in town. I had told her previously that I wanted her to take pictures of Carlyn while she was here...but I ALSO wanted to see her and her ADORABLE son Benjy! It was a lot of fun to watch the two interact. He just turned ONE!!! He was very excited to see Carlyn, it was so cute! Sarah is an amazing photographer, and here is a link to a slide show she made! It's so great, I can't stop watching it! Pumpkin Patch

I took Carlyn to the pumpkin patch this year, mainly to get some cute pictures...which we definitely did! My sister got to come with us, which was a lot of fun. She loved watching all the other kids running around, she would get really excited and wave her arms in the air! Here are some of the cutest pictures!

Grandpa Time!

Carlyn loves her Papa....that's my dad! He thinks she is the world! He is so in love with that little girl, and it's so much fun to watch them together! Her favorite thing to do with my dad is swing outside. She knows when he's home, that's what they'll be doing! Her next favorite thing to do with him...sleep!

Growing so fast!

It's amazing how fast they grow! I can't believe how much she's changing every day! It's so fun to see what new thing she'll do next! Here are some new cute pictures!

The Good and the Bad

Let's start with the bad...Carlyn got sick! It was awful. She was throwing up, had a fever, a rash on her tummy, and worst of all...she just wanted to lay around and cry. This is so not like Carlyn. It was awful to watch. She had some kind of virus, and it just had to run it's course! A day of pedialyte and rest made her feel much better! The next day we started slow with milk, and by the end of the day she was smiling! The next day she was almost back to normal! We were supposed to go to on a mini vacation, and weren't sure if we should still go...but it had been 48 hours with no throwing up, a much happier baby, and eating normal...so, the good news...off to Mexico we went!

Mexico was a blast! We went with my father, mother, and sister in law. We stayed at my Uncle's condo in Rocky Point...right on the beach! The water was so nice and relaxing. Me, Drea, and Jason hung out there most of the time. Carlyn had a great time with her Mimi and Big Daddy watching the water come in, and all the kids playing on the beach. We also got to go into town and get some yummy shrimp to bring home! It was so much fun, and I can't wait to do it again!

THIS is why I love Arizona

It has been absolutley beautiful out lately! The high has been in the 80s, and I remember, at this time of year, why I suffer through the summers! Carlyn and I have been going to the park almost every day that I'm off. She loved looking at the ducks and all the other kids playing. Carlyn LOVES to be outside, and just enjoys the sights and sounds of nature! It is so fun to watch her discover new things...like the taste of grass isn't as good as she may have thought!
